How to make a subscribe-to-unlock link for YouTube
Short answer
Create a link with your download, add the Subscribe to channel action with your channel URL, and paste the link in your video description. Viewers subscribe, then get the file.
Why it works
Someone who watched your tutorial and wants the preset, LUT or project file is about as interested as a viewer gets. Asking for a subscribe at that moment costs them one click, and turns a one-off viewer into someone who sees your next upload.
Set it up
Prepare the download
Upload the file to the link, or paste a Drive or Dropbox link. Name the link after the freebie, like “Cinematic LUT Pack”.
Add Subscribe to channel
Paste your channel URL. Want more? Add Like video for the video you’ll post it under, or Join server for your Discord.
Publish and copy the link
Start from Create a link, or from your dashboard if you have an account.
Put it in the description
Near the top, with a line that says what’s behind it, like “Free LUT pack from this video 👇”. Pin a comment with the same link.
Tips that raise conversion
- Mention it in the video. A quick “link in the description” at the moment you use the preset does more than any text.
- Keep the ask small. A subscribe plus one extra action is plenty for a free download.
- Add a cover image. A frame of the result makes the page feel like the thing they came for.
- One link per video. Separate links show which video brings the most subscribers.

Yes. Add Like video or Comment on video next to the subscribe, in the order you want.
