Choose the right actions
Short answer
Ask for one to three actions, and put the one you care about most at the top. Pick platforms where you actually post, and match the ask to how much people want what you share.
Start with one goal
Every action costs your visitor a little effort. Decide what matters most right now (subscribers, Discord members or emails) and make that the first step. Everything after it is a bonus.
How many actions?
- One action for small freebies, or when the link reaches people who don’t know you yet.
- Two or three for something people clearly want, like a full preset pack or a script update.
- More than three rarely pays off. People give up halfway, and then you get none of the actions.
Ask where you post
A follow only helps if that account is active. Ask for the platform your next upload, stream or release goes to, so the new follower actually sees it. There are more than 70+ actions to choose from, on YouTube, Discord, TikTok, Instagram, Spotify, Twitch, Roblox, GitHub and more.
Order matters
Visitors go through the steps from top to bottom. Put the action you want most first and lighter ones, like a like or a page visit, below it. In the editor you can drag actions into any order.
