Rekonise uses cookies and similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and, with your consent where the law requires it, measure traffic and show ads. This page explains which ones and how to control them. For how we handle personal data in general, see the Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Local storage works similarly, but stays in your browser and is not sent with every request. We use both, and call them "cookies" below.
Strictly necessary
These make Rekonise work, so they cannot be switched off.
- Sign-in: keeps you logged in securely between visits.
- Security: helps us protect accounts and prevent abuse.
Preferences
These remember choices you make, such as the preview size in the editor, a filter or a dismissed message. They stay in your browser.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how people use Rekonise, for example which pages are visited and how people find us. Google's policy: How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Advertising
Some link pages can show ads from advertising partners such as Google AdSense. These partners may use cookies to show and measure ads, and to limit how often you see them. Paid (Pro) creators' pages are ad-free.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop sign-in and some features from working. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before setting analytics or advertising cookies, and you can change your choice at any time. You can also opt out of personalised Google ads at adssettings.google.com.
Changes
We may update this policy when we change what we use. The date at the top shows the latest version.
