- File for mods, packs and anything bigger. Upload it to the link, no separate file host needed.
- URL if the download already lives somewhere else, like GitHub or a store page.

New version, same link
When you release an update, edit the link and replace the snippet or file. The address stays the same, so every place you posted it now serves the new version.
What about people skipping steps?
